It’s Monday 27th January 2025 and this evenings show we purr over yet another sublime away performance as the ‘Pool but Exeter to the sword at St James Park over the weekend to record our sixth win on the road this season and unbelievably register our first win in seven games. We also look ahead to tomorrow evening as ‘Pool travel to Lincoln City
Exeter City 1 – Blackpool 3
- End to end stuff for first half of hour
- CJ goal, played in by Morgan. Ref played good advantage from Offiah who bulldozed through to play in
- Bloxham goal, payed in by Apter (Somersault). Morgan holding mouth on finish
- Fletcher goal, bulldozed through from a bad pass, tidy finish a played in. Morgan mock back flip celebration
- Exeter goal, good move and finish
- Exeter none pen, Offiyah clumsy foul or shoulder to shoulder? Interesting angle on their official channel
- First win in seven games and first win of the year. Does that feel harsh considering some performances?
- Sat back in a low block again inviting pressure. Why do we keep doing this? Could have thrown it away again.
