Burton 1 – Blackpool 1: REACTION

It’s Monday 10th February and in this evenings show we go over Saturday’s last gasp equaliser at Burton thanks to sublime diving header from Albie Morgan to extend our unbeaten run to eight games, but also leaves us eight points off the last play off spot. We also look ahead to tomorrow’s rearranged match under the lights at home to Rotherham tomorrow night.

Burton Albion 1 – Blackpool 1

Reason to be cheerful

  • Lost 1
  • 22 from 39 points
  • We’re one of two teams out of 92 to be unbeaten in 2025.

First half

  • 19 mins goal for Burton. Tyrer at fault or good finish from Burrell?
  • Penalty shout – I did a Smith

Second half

  • CJ Miss
  • Whipped cross miss
  • 67 Sub Silvera for Husband, Skipper CJ to left back
  • 77 Subs Evans, Coulson, Beesely replacing Fletch, Offiah, Apter
  • 90 Morgan GOAL, cross from Silvera
  • Why we were so passive in the first half?
  • Were the subs too late? Game was crying out for another body in the middle?
  • Why do we seem to really struggle to get over the line in some games this season?
